AMAREGOWDA L PATIL BAYYAPUR (16 December 1954) is an Indian politician, Educationalist and philanthropist. He have came from a remote village Bayyapur. He has served as Minister in the Karnataka Goverment. He is elected four times to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from the Indian National Congress, He is a senior leader of the INC and a prominent figure in North Karnataka Region.He is noted politically for his Educational services and philanthropy.

Worked as a Director Primary Land Development Bank, Lingasagur, Raichur District in the year of 1985-1990.

Served as a Mandal Pradhan from Nagarhal Mandal Panchayath, Lingasagur Taluk, Raichur District in the year of 1987-1992 got a Best Mandal Pradhan Award from Zilla Parishath Raichur.

In the year of 1994, 1st Term Selected as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Lingasagur Assembly Constituency, Raichur District.

In the year 1999 2nd time Selected as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Lingasagur Assembly Constituency, Raichur District.

In the year of 2004 3rd time Selected as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Lingasagur Assembly Constituency, Raichur District & served as a Cabinet Minister (Sugar & Textiles & as a District In-charge Minister of Raichur) under Shri. N. Dharma Singh, Chief Ministers is Cabinet.

In the year of 2008 4th time Elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Kushtagi Assembly Constituency, Koppal District & worked as a Member Mining Enquiry Committee which constituted by the Congress Party.

In the year 2018 5th time Elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Kushtagi Assembly Constituency, Koppal District.
